Harrison Ford is Rick Deckard, a bladerunner stalking and killing genetically made criminal replicants (Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah) in the steel-and-microchip jungle of 21st century Los Angeles.
Replicants are genetically manufactured beings that are visually indistinguishable from adult humans. They are used for dangerous and degrading work in Earth’s ‘off world colonies’. After a small replicant uprising, they become illegal on Earth and ‘blade runners’ are trained to hunt down and kill escaped replicants on Earth.
Blade Runner delves into the future implications of technology on the environment and society by reaching into the past using literature, religious symbolism, classical dramatic themes and film noir.

A fun game is trying to catch all the verbal and visual allusions — Alice in Wonderland, Ray Bradbury, Star Wars, and more. It has its flaws, but it’s still an amazing movie.
